This Privacy Policy explains how Bernardo Langer, doing business as Metroplex Media Lab ("Metroplex Media Lab," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you visit metroplexmedialab.com (the "Site"), contact us, or buy a package from us. We are committed to handling your information responsibly and consistent with applicable U.S. privacy laws, including the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), and Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act (FTC Act).

• Free preview form: your website address and email address. When you submit it, we send your website address to Google PageSpeed Insights to measure its speed, accessibility and search basics, and we show you the results.
• Question form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the package you are asking about, your current website (optional), and your message.
• Onboarding form after a purchase: your business name, your name, email address, phone number, current website, a description of your business and customers, your preferences for the new site, and any links to files you share with us.
• Purchases: payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your card details, billing address, and the name, business name and phone number requested at checkout. We receive the details of your purchase, but not your full card number.
• Information from direct contact: if you email, call, text (SMS), or message us on WhatsApp (+1 214-901-7315), we receive the contact details and content you choose to share.
• Technical data collected automatically: our hosting and security provider may log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, approximate location and pages visited, for the security and operation of the Site.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data, and we do not sell your personal information.

• To respond to your inquiries, provide quotes, and communicate about our services.
• To provide, manage, and deliver services you engage us for.
• To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers / processors that help us operate, which process data on our behalf: Web3Forms (form submissions), Stripe (payments and sales-tax calculation), Google (PageSpeed Insights website checks and Google Analytics visit statistics), Cloudflare (hosting, security and privacy-friendly visit statistics), our email provider, and messaging platforms such as WhatsApp/Meta if you contact us through them.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Metroplex Media Lab or others.

5. Cookies, local storage and "Do Not Track"

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site: which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive, and whether forms are submitted or checkout links are clicked. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) and collects information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type. Google Analytics does not log or store full IP addresses. We do not send your name, email address or form contents to Google Analytics, we have turned off Google signals and ads personalization, and we do not use Google Analytics for advertising. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits by using Google's opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Other storage. Our Site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits; it does not use cookies and gives us only aggregated statistics. The Site stores your language choice (English, Spanish or Vietnamese) in your browser's local storage so it is remembered on your next visit. Stripe's checkout pages, which are hosted on Stripe's own domain, use cookies for payment processing and fraud prevention under Stripe's privacy policy. Because we do not engage in cross-site tracking, we do not respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals, as disclosed in accordance with CalOPPA. Third-party content or links (for example, WhatsApp) are governed by their own privacy policies.

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights regarding your personal data:

• Texas residents (TDPSA): you may request to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of your personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or certain profiling. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising. If we decline a request, you may appeal by contacting us at info@metroplexmedialab.com.
• California residents (CalOPPA / CCPA where applicable): you may review the personal information we hold, request changes, and ask how your information is handled.

To exercise any right, email info@metroplexmedialab.com. We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (generally within 45 days under the TDPSA).

7. Data retention

We keep your information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. Purchase and invoice records are kept for as long as tax law requires.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

The Site may link to third-party websites or services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies.
